Rumus:
- (+) S + was/were + Ving
- (-) S + was/were + NOT + Ving
- (?) Was/Were + S + Ving
Function:
- Menyatakan perbuatan yang sedang berlangsung di waktu tertentu di masa lampau.
Examples:
- I was cooking when you called me.
- They were in my house when Mr.Marcus played football.
- When my mother visited my brother, I was in my friend's house.
- All day yesterday
- At 7 o'clock
- Yesterday
